ELEMENTAL
I started my art practice as a photographer and was always drawn to capturing textured surfaces, cracked pavement, gritty rust, peeling paint, something emerging; something passing away. All of these works find their foundation in the subject or use of organic materials like clay, charcoal, twigs, cloth, metal, clouds all bearing the mark of dynamic engagement and yet contained and luminescent.
